You reside in the feudal von Bassermann Suite in the former wine estate of the renowned winery of Geheimer Rat Dr. von Bassermann-Jordan. Experience a tour through our wine cellars – one of the most beautiful and historic. Here we store well over 11.000 bottles – a collection considered to be one of the largest in Germany. The oldest wines date back to 1811 and we have every vintage dating back to 1870.
The next day a luxury flight awaits you. Fly with a Silver Cloud Air private jet to one of the most traditional champagne houses or visit the Small Luxury Hotel partner hotel ‘Les Sources de Caudalie’ in Bordeaux and taste famous red wines in the Smith Haut Lafitte chateau.

The first cooking school in Deidesheim opened in October 2009. The school is located in our adjoining building "Heumarkt" which is directly next to the Ketschauer Hof. The whole design has been realized by Tassilo Bost who also designed the interiour of the hotel and restaurant. Modern architecture meets historic building stock. In a collaboration with our partners "Nolte Küchen" and "Gaggenau" one of the most beautiful cooking schools in Germany has been realized. On a high level it is possible to host cooking classes, corporate events and private celecbrations. There are in total three different rooms and outdoor terrace at disposal.
