Born in Munich, it was in the Palatinate wine town of Deidesheim that Daniel Schimkowitsch developed his own highly individual and personal style. The restaurant, L.A. Jordan, is his culinary creative workshop and has become a fine example of a new type of gourmet cuisine that is dynamic and upbeat. That means: highly inventive and bold in its combining of ingredients, inspired by the flavours of Asian cooking, firmly rooted in haute cuisine, tightly focused on essentials and meticulous in terms of preparation and presentation. In sum, it's the charismatic cuisine of a young chef driven by a passion for novel and exceptional taste experiences.
