It is known as the Riesling town of the wine route. With its narrow cobbled streets, picturesque castle garden, historic market square and 15th century parish church, it enchants its visitors. <br \/>The unique combination of wine, enjoyment, culture, closeness to nature and joie de vivre, as well as a sense of tradition on the one hand and cosmopolitanism on the other, <br \/>give Deidesheim a unique charm.<\/p>\n<p>One of the most famous events in Deidesheim is the traditional billy goat auction.
