Restaurant Sushi B.

Nestled in one of our three sister wineries, the
Reichsrat von Buhl winery
Since December 2019, the restaurant Sushi B.

Rooms in deep black and bright white, brightly colored geisha graffiti on the walls
and glamorous details all around allow guests entering to marvel at this special light and room concept and immerse themselves in a pleasant feel-good atmosphere.

The open show kitchen in the middle of the restaurant is an informal invitation,
take a seat at the bar and watch the sushi master at work.
If you prefer something a little more discreet, you can retreat to the round seating area
and enjoy fine sushi, maki & more.

Operations manager

…has been with us since April 2019. She started out as restaurant manager of our gourmet restaurant L.A. Jordan, then moved to the Reichsrat von Buhl winery to work in sales. She returned to gastronomy in March 2023 and has been managing Sushi B ever since. Her career in the Deidesheim establishments mentioned above is par excellence for a career development that ismade possible by our diversegroup of companies.

She sees herself as a passionate hostess, and anyone who has ever experienced her can only agree. She welcomes her guests with charm and recommends the appropriate wine accompaniment in the same manner.

Otherwise, she loves the outdoors, enjoys cycling or walking, or you can meet her at the gym.

…has been part of the restaurant team since October 2022 and supports Maria Friedrich in perfect service with food recommendations.
The team quickly recognized her penchant for excellent non-alcoholic drinks. Since then, creating non-alcoholic lemonades has been her specialty.
When the guests leave the restaurant smiling with satisfaction after their visit, she is pleased that she was able to make the evening a success.

In her free time, she likes to relax in the day spa or meet up with her family.

I put my heart and soul into the restaurant Sushi B. I was hooked from day one. I have the best colleagues you can imagine there, so I can say that it feels a bit like "home" to me.

…was launched at the GmbH in May 2019, back then with the sushi pop-up restaurant and a handful of tables in the RIVA restaurant. The first few weeks there left all the guests wanting more and the Sushi B story led to an expansion into the newly renovated location at the Reichsrat von Buhl winery. As a creative mind, the chef writes the menu, takes care of the food purchasing and rolls – as his fans rave about – the best sushi in Germany.

What else does he like? Apparently everything beautiful that begins with “R”. Because when he’s not rolling, he’s traveling or in a restaurant meeting friends for dinner.

Simplicity and complexity at the same time - this is Sushi B.

…has been working in the kitchen with Piotr Suszek since May 2023. His part there is all the dishes that are baked in tempura.

He also loves cooking in his private life – preferably for his 6-year-old daughter and his wife.

I get to work with high-quality, top-class food here, which is fun for a chef! I enjoy working with Piotr, and our dishes clearly have our signature style - that makes me immensely proud.
